This insanely great show was 42 years ago? Steve comments in the show more than once about the energy level of the audience and the Denver crowd that's hard to miss.

This is the Unsung Heroes album tour so much of the material is off that. Unsung Heroes was voted best guitar album of 1981 by the readers of Guitar Player magazine. There are not a lot of tapes of The Dregs live (aka Dixie Dregs but they were calling themselves The Dregs at this particular time). I've heard that Steve was very anti-taping, which is fine, but after 42 years I hope he forgives us for being so devoted, and is OK with me sharing this here as an historic reference.
This is a gem of a recording my friend carefully made while I sat with him and other friends near the front.
