Samurai Maiden - Chapter 14 | The Demon Lord

Lots of dialogues near the end here, despite the stage starting immediately with none, to my surprise.

A new mostly indoors map. Despite how large the rooms are, they’re very empty and there isn’t much to do in them after killing the enemies. Speaking of enemies, lots of boss fights here, where you fight multiple bosses from earlier at once. There are also some trap hazards that are pretty easy to avoid.

Nobunaga shows up at the Demon Lord’s altar at the end, where he consumes the Demon Lord’s power to the cast’s surprise after lots of yapping and pisses them off. No Nobunaga boss fight here, you just fight 3 waves of peons that can actually do a considerable amount of damage here if they hit you.

Nobunaga decided to become the Demon Lord halfway because he saw he’s going to die in Honnoji in Tsumugi’s history class textbook. Can’t say I blame him. Imagine someone coming from the future and telling you “hey dude you’re gonna die today lol.” He probably went to sing Baka Mitai after reading the textbook.

I'd blame the MC for dropping her textbook despite how angy she sounds. Though it’s also cringe for Nobunaga to put on the “I don’t expect you to understand” attitude and attempts to kill his own ninja Iyo for no good reason.
