Generative AI capabilities are changing how we build AI solutions to perform complex tasks. Document processing is one of the activities that require AI to accurately handle different variations. However, AI-powered document processing doesn't mean it can perform everything without human involvement.
AI capabilities have proved themselves in processing complex documents. However, validating the extracted data required a lot of rules and effort. Generative AI capabilities can not just extract, but also assist in validating extracted information. AI-assisted validation can greatly reduce the manual effort required for validating the extracted information by traditional methods (Regex, Template-based, and Model-based). UiPath introduced Generative Validation for improving document validation. This video explains how the new Generative Validation can be used in Document Understanding solutions.
