In this short tutorial, we walk you through the basic steps of getting a proper exposure using CINE-EI mode on the FS7. The biggest part is making sure you are using the right S-Log curve for the conditions, then choosing the proper IRE exposure levels. With S-Log footage, it is okay to overexpose it by 1-2 stops, then bring the image down in post by 1-2 stops. In general, s-log2 is better for daylight and s-log3 is better for low light.
