Prima Queen - Sunshine Song (Live Session) | PRS Piano Sessions

PRS for Music celebrates the launch of ‪@primaqueen‬'s debut album The Prize with a special PRS Piano Session of their joy inspired track 'Sunshine Song'.

The transatlantic duo, Louise Macphail and Kristin McFadden, create music that feels like a secret whispered between best friends – confessional, charming, and irresistibly catchy. Their journey began with a stroke of fate: a chance meeting in a London classroom pre-pandemic. McFadden, a Chicago native, found herself in the UK when her original study plans fell through. Upon meeting Macphail, the connection was instant. “Will you be in my band?” Macphail asked, and Prima Queen was born. Since then, the duo has been supported by PRS Foundation to perform at SXSW, they were runners up in the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition, securing PRS Foundation's Talent Development prize and more recently were awarded the PPL Momentum Music Fund which directly supported the making and recording of their debut album.

Their meteoric rise has included five BBC 6 Music playlisted singles and a critically acclaimed debut EP, Not The Baby, earning praise from NME, The Guardian, and beyond.
