"An Unhealthy Obsession" es un tema que habla de dos sujetos, una mujer y un hombre, que son acosadores (ya sea entre ellos o cada uno con sus respectivos acosados, no es algo que se especifique en la canción) y sobre las conductas tóxicas, e ilegales en algunos casos, que ambos ejercen para poder llegar a sus "enamorados"

Obviamente las dos personas disfrazan este acoso de amor romántico y en ningún momento muestran arrepentimiento por lo hecho.

Como siempre, recordad que algunas frases han sido adaptadas a la traducción, por lo que no están traducidas literalmente.


☙ "They call it creeping, I say loving": En este caso, "creeping" podía ser traducido de muchas formas, y decidí dejarlo en "acoso", pero me gustaría destacar que encontré dos traduciones para este verbo, y ambas quedaban bien en la canción. "Creeping" puede referirse a la acción de una persona que acosa a otra por medio de las redes sociales, estando pendiente todo el día de sus publicaciones y de cada cosa de su vida, o bien puede referirse a la acción de acosar a alguien y perseguirle por todas partes.

☙ "I've got a million polaroids with all the dates penned in red ink": Polaroid es una reconocida marca de la compañía del mismo nombre que se dedica a distribuir cámaras de fotografía. A las mismas fotos que saca, se les llama "polaroids", pero en la traducción decidí dejarlo como "fotografías"

☙ "And I'll get done for somethin' stupid like disturbance of the peace": Aunque de manera literal el delito sería traducido como "Disturbio de la paz", decidí dejar "Disturbance of the peace" como "Alteración del orden público" para que se entendiese mejor, ya que es así como se conoce este delito en los países de habla hispana.
