I'm a medical writer. I've done a fair share of medical writing interviews. Here are my thoughts.
Key considerations:
1) Your CV and Cover Letter are the initial proof that you can write in a clear and concise manner.
2) Expect a task.
3) Look up Plain Language Summaries and journal Lancet.
4) Think about your motivations for the role.
5) Can you resolve a conflict?
6) Can you write as a team?
7) Use STAR method to answer the questions.

document management and referencing: Mendeley, Zotero
Image processing: ImageJ
