This experiment is known, can be replicated easily and without danger. Required: salt water, activated carbon for aquariums, aluminum foil 200x150 mm, two contacts of copper wire, soft paper, 2-3 volt motor. The battery has a capacity of about 35-40 mA.
The 2-3 volt motor can be recovered from "cd rom motor".
To guarantee the success of this experiment, it is necessary to have a motor with a low energy consumption of 15-20 mA max. and a voltage of 2-3 volts. The use of all types of toy engines is not recommended.
The operating time of the fan is about 20 minutes.
