Melanie, heavily inspired by anti-folk was written a day before it's release. Written and recorded on one day, mixed and uploaded on the next. Although it was a very rushed process, the lyrics and melody, like always (in my songs) have a very important meaning/message to them.
Dot is my 3rd overall and 1st experimental album. In a sense that it's dedicated to exploring genres that I adore but have never tried before (minimalism, rap, indie, anti-folk).
Since I've either been playing my last 2 solo albums (mostly acoustic ballads) or mainstream music for some good time, I am looking for artistic relief from this project. The aim is to keep everything as simple as possible. I'll be recording the entire thing in my bedroom using a broken guitar and one mic. It's all I own.
