This year’s National Volunteer Week theme is ‘Something for Everyone’, recognising the diverse passions and talents that everyone brings to the act of volunteering. It’s an invitation to explore the myriad of opportunities available, emphasising that there’s a place for everyone in the world of volunteering. 🙋♀️🙋♂️
Today we are celebrating Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter - one of the many volunteer-run organisations that service the Moira Shire. A wildlife rescue service and shelter, Dutch Thunder Wildlife Rescue were winners of the Community Star Achiever Award at the recent Moira Achiever Awards, recognising their contribution to our community. 🌟
Dutch Thunder Wildlife Rescue could not do what they do without their volunteers – whether it be rescuing animals, foster caring, collecting donations, chopping up fruit, or collecting native grasses and leaves for animals to eat. 🌿
Let’s join together and celebrate the incredible volunteers, like Kylee and the team at Dutch Thunder Wildlife Rescue, who are making a difference in our community every day! 🦘🐢🐨
