The Gold Dynamo roller is an okay alternative kit to the vanilla one. Splat bomb is one of the best sub weapons in the game, and Super Chumps are an okay special.
Basically, you trade a movement tool in Sprinkler on the Vanilla kit for a killing/poking tool in Splat Bomb. And you trade a meta Special, Tacticooler on the Vanilla kit, for Super Chumps, which are... okay.
It's great in Splat Zones, because the Chumps can help retake or maintain Zone control for your team. But overall Super Chumps are still 3/4 of a Special ; they still need buffs in the future in my opinion.
The Dynamo Roller still needs some changes to be good. That or an absolute god kit like Fizzy Bomb/Booyah bomb. The devs seem so scared of buffing this weapon, and it's understandable ; it's a weapon that's easy to break if you buff it too much.
But the Dynamo Roller is still in a really sad state in this game where everything else is much faster and stronger. The Vertical Flick needs to deal more damage and have a far longer one-shot range, in my opinion.
