Animals in Space!

Hi, I’m Ian and I live in Surrey in the UK.

In this series of videos, I aim to provide a short period of calm with soft music and a view of one of the wonders of the Universe briefly showing the result of a night’s imaging.

This might be a Galaxy, a Nebula or even a planet. I will continue to demonstrate my full imaging process on other videos on different aspects of this hobby. I will post a few of these simple but calm videos of some of the amazing things we can see in the night sky. I hope you enjoy.

• NGC 6995 – The Bat Nebula, 2,100 light years away
• IC 1848 – The Soul Nebula (but I think it looks like a Rhino!), 7,500 light years away
• IC434 – The Horsehead Nebula, 1,375 light years away
• IC 1396 – The Elephant Trunk Nebula, 2,400 light years away
