FINDER'S KEEPERS

Finder's Keepers is an chilled hypnotic analogue techno experience. Found deep in the heart of a eurorack system. The accompanying visualisation imagines a minimalist post human discotheque. Unseen AI's are the only dancers here. Maybe they embrace the retro-analogue recordings of a man, a thing now long forgotten... or whatever your imagination can conjure.

Had a few typo's above... not unusual, lol... but quite often I've noticed that a video doesn't get 'distributed' so well if there are typos.

A couple of times I've fixed a typo and seen a sudden increase in reach. However this has got me thinking, and TBH recently I've felt that the spell checkers across various apps, like Teams, have been on steroids.

I've even suspected the spellcheckers of purposefully creating errors whenever an opportunity might present itself, and in some ways I can understand why there actually might be a push towards this.

Every big tech company is desperate to convince us that we need AI in every aspect of our lives... and they desperately need a return on the amount of money they are throwing at it... so undermining our confidence in any thing they can is probably not off the table!

It is understandable, with such huge investments that big tech wants to replace everyone with AI and many companies are falling over themselves to be the first, etc., but it can only be cheap in the short term.

Eventually somebody will have to pay to pick up the pieces as society starts to crumble...

I can imagine the middle classes will not appreciate a "one child benefit cap" as they are moved on to UBS along with everyone else.

Maybe the longer term goal is to phase us out. If the super rich have AI and robots to protect them (bye bye Bobby) and to do everything they want, what the hell do they need us for? Neither they, nor big tech wants to pick up the tab, that's for sure!

Hey, consider turning off your spellcheckers, occasionally or for fun, and spell cr8tivlee... Shakespeare has got away with it for centuries.

Anyway if they do manage to "erase us" in favour of Elisium, or whatever the real end game is, it will have bit of a sting in it's tail... cos the flipping robots don't need them either... so as far they want to take it, my money's on the robot!
