This Porsche 911 transmission or transaxle has been a tough one, but I'm winning albeit slowly. We got the pinion depth finalized, both shafts installed for good, a preliminary differential pre-load checked and even a first look at the pinion backlash.
The wrong bearing has been replaced and I'm now super confident things are right. Also very confident now with the final pinion position and measurement tooling.
