I love Helldivers 2 randoms. For any seasoned Helldiver, we know how rare this experience is. In most cases, you land and people “divide and conquer” which is fine, but then you miss out on the satisfaction of being able to play in a squad
It’s interesting, games like Darktide, Space Marine, etc. you rarely see people moving away from each other. In Helldivers 2, it’s almost the opposite for a good majority of my matches
I will say though that I don’t get to fight the enemy as much because my allies are effective and I’m in heavy armor and slow af, but I think given the right conditions, it can be very epic. I need this squad on a map full of stalkers, hunters, and warriors. Watermelon bugs seem to reduce the amount of enemies available.
