This is a loco Rescue operation by Road Cranes which was done for the first time in South Central Railway . This work was done in Guntur Division .
The loco which was hauling a goods train got derailed and went far off from the tracks . The Railway Cranes called ART was not adequate as the distance from the track was more . So Road Cranes were brought to Site by laying a Road . The Entire operation costed about 30 lakhs and the Value of the loco was about 7 to 8 Crores . Finally it was rerailed and put into operation . It was a Challenging task .
