During an early morning fishing trip to the inlet at Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park I noticed what I thought at first to be a pelican in distress. What I eventually realized is that a Bobcat was attacking a Great Blue Heron some fifteen feet from the shore. The Bobcat lost that battle and swam ashore to wait out the wounded bird. Here is the footage.
