Review of two books from the new Rhodia Touch collection for artists, very nice!

Here is the third and last part of this series about new stuff from the French Rhodia company and I kept the best part for part 3 because here is the new Rhodia Touch collection for artists.

I thought it was the ONE thing missing from their very large offer of paper products but here it is and this time they worked with the Arts team from Clairefontaine so as to provide a collection really meant for artists from designers to architects but also for Sunday artists like yours truly.

So based on the principle that "For every Art its paper, for each paper its subtlety", they created a collection of both pads and artbooks in different formats that you choose based on what tools or techniques you use. Be it calligraphy they you'll choose the calligrapher pad or book (that one being made out of Simili Japan paper 250 g per msg). My son draws with markers, Japanese Manga style so he is pretty happy with the Bristol book and I'm more an in situ fine liner drawer with a touch of watercolor so the Pen and Inkwash sounded perfect.

As if focusing on paper wasn't enough to make them stand out, their Italian simili leather is gorgeous and so realistic as to make it perfect. When you compare this to a Moleskine cover, it is shamed lol.
