🌸 Introduction
Today’s episode is dedicated to Mata Bhadrakali, the Nagar Devi (city goddess) of Karnavati (Ahmedabad).
In Ahmedabad, Bhadrakali Mata has been worshipped as the guardian goddess of the city for centuries.
The Bhadra Fort of Ahmedabad is named after her, and she is deeply connected to the city’s culture and spiritual energy.
🌺 About Mata Bhadrakali
Bhadrakali is a fierce yet benevolent form of Goddess Shakti (Durga/Parvati).
The name means:
Bhadra = auspicious, protective, gentle.
Kali = fierce, the destroyer of evil.
Thus, Maa Bhadrakali represents both compassion and ferocity—she is kind to her devotees but annihilates demons and negativity.
