Nikkou the Lightblade – Rance X Scene

Hello, all my Alicesoft fans! This scene features moments with Nikkou, the Lightblade. Her tale, like Chaos', is tied to the legend of the Eternal Heroes. This party consisting of British, Ho-Raga, Café, Nikkou and Chaos, rose up during the Jill (Gele) Era in order to challenge the supremacy of demonkind. At a time where human farms were implemented to counteract the Hero System, these five adventurers joined forces as they sought to bring about the end of Jill's reign. Unfortunately, their story does not have a happy end.

Nikkou is an interesting character. She's loyal, just and honorable to a fault. Comparing her to Chaos is fascinating. As you'll notice throughout this scene, Chaos doesn't give Nikkou any slack and persistently pressures her about her friendship with Miki and Kentarou. Considering their history and the horrors they've both experienced, Chaos' sentiment is justified. However, Nikkou feels that times are not what they used to be. That said, one slip up and all of that can easily change, plunging humanity back into an era of death and despair — which Chaos understands full well.

So Rance finds out the truth about Nikkou, and promptly loses his mind. I don't know if you'll enjoy this scene, but I hope it'll be a fun read. I had to do a bit of covering-up here and there, so hopefully the end result is tolerable. Nikkou is a very traditional JAPANese Samurai. She doesn't say a lot and prefers silence. She'll often say nothing in her dialogue, which is quite Yin of her. Rance and Chaos' chemistry is so fun to me. Watching them quip and argue is always the best. Notice how they get along perfectly at times.

PS: The suffix "Soutou" translates roughly to "President", "Generalissimo" or "Supreme Commander". Since the people of JAPAN usually keep their suffixes intact, like Kentarou, Miki and Tourin, I decided to have Nikkou be the same.

PPS: Were it up to me, I would've definitely gone with cooler names for Chaos and Nikkou, like... the Cursed Sword and the Holy Katana, but the official terms are Darksword and Lightblade, so... ya know. I'll try to mirror those for the moment so you guys don't end up being too confused with the final version. I might not always do that however, so be careful! Watch out!
