Welcome to the Glen Helen RC Raceway's RC Sand Drags!
We recently made a trip to Glen Helen motorsports park to check out the RC Sand Drags event put on buy Glen Helen RC Raceway, Giant RC, and Bartolone Racing. From Mild to wild, and classes from stock to unlimited running nitrous and extended chassis, There were a range of large scale RC's from Hpi Racing, Losi, and FG. This was the second official sand drags event out here in Southern California and hopefully there will be many more to come. Watching these 1/5 scale RC's roost down the 132 foot drag strip shooting a huge roost of sand in +/_ 3-4 seconds is definitely a rush! The fastest time of the day was put down by Chris Bartolone with a 2.99!
