This talk shows how to build a simple end-to-end app on AWS using some Python code, then make it do something fun: print to a thermal printer on a Raspberry Pi. We’ll briefly introduce beginner-friendly AWS services API Gateway, Lambda, and SQS explain what each does, and then connect them into a small cloud-to-device workflow. Along the way we’ll touch on basic deployment, permissions, and why queues help. The goal: make Cloud concepts feel concrete, not abstract.
