K'nex Megaleg Moon

IT"S A TRAP!!! Mario and the team have chased down Bowser Jr., who has kidnapped Princess Peach. After pursuing him through a warp pipe, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Yoshi find themselves on a dark and barren wasteland. A remote moon. And Bowser Jr. is ready! He has been constructing a robot reactor called Megaleg and Princess Peach is being held prisoner inside the hull of the giant metal beast. Can Mario rescue the princess? Hold onto your seats, this race just took a much more dangerous turn!

This track video is in followup to "Bowser Jr.'s Revenge!" that I uploaded on March 3rd, 2015. So if the opening scenes of this video don't make any sense, be sure to watch that video first.

WOW! This track took forever to build and upload. Sorry everyone for the crazy long wait! I have always loved the Megaleg Boss Battle. It's very unique in style. A gigantic robot that you climb up, dodge Bullet Bills and destroy. How cool is that? The idea of building a Megaleg started off as a revamp for GBA Cheeseland. Eventually it evolved into it's own custom track idea of Megaleg Moon, but the idea was so huge and far-fetched that it seemed impossible to build. How on earth would the karts travel up and down this giant robot? Then Mario Kart 8 came out and introduced anti-gravity racing. That was the answer I needed. (Now if I can just convince Nintendo to add this into a future MK8 DLC pack.) Ever since then this course has slowly evolved in my mind from impossible to feasible. And here it is!

As you all can see this undertaking was huge! There will be three tutorial videos coming out soon to explain the building of my biggest creation ever. Be sure to check them out.

DISCLAIMER - I have more than two dozen other custom track ideas. None of them, however, compare in size or scope to this course. What does that mean? One. It means that I have lots of other fun and creative courses still to come! Two. It means none of them should take as long to build or upload as this one did. I believe that one of my biggest hesitations for building this course was that it would leave a huge gaping hole in between track videos. And it did. Two and a half months! Thank you everyone for being patient with me. I hope it was worth the incredible wait.

NEXT TRACK HINT: I am horribly overdue for another Double Dash course. With Bowser Jr. on thin ice for his stunts that he pulled off here, he's gonna be hard pressed to win this next race. In other words, yes, Bowser Jr. will be racing and Mario and Luigi plan on preventing him from winning!
