Here's Part 5 of a rare surviving edition of Bill Jackson's The BJ & Dirty Dragon Show on WFLD Channel 32. This was from the original 2" quadruplex master tape. Includes:
Wally still looking for Weird, and B.J. hoping that he didn't go into that old house - whereupon the Box plays "Taps." B.J. then starts to draw a picture of "Mr. Mean," starting with the eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth, before we cut to Dr. Doompuss inside the house and going into the room where Weird has ended up; B.J. then finishes his drawing, with Wally still on the hunt for Weird, who is headed towards the cellar trap door - and Doompuss following behind, with some of his "gloom dust."
This aired on local Chicago TV some time between January and September of 1972.
About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television:
The Museum of Classic Chicago Television's primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s and early 80s, primarily) recorded off of any and all Chicago TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical purposes. For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or lend tapes to be converted to DVD, and to view more of the 3,800+ (and counting) video clips available for viewing in our online archive, please visit us at:
