Use hotfix crystals to add sparkle to a plain t-shirt!
Hotfix crystals are great for embellishing clothes and fabric projects. They have a heat-activated adhesive on the back of the crystal that allows them to adhere firmly to fabric. Newer Swarovski hotfix crystals can be identified by the rose gold color on the back of the crystal. If applied properly, hotfix crystals will not come off in the washer or dryer for quite some time.

1. Place your crystals where you want them on your material.
2. Place your hotfix tool on top of a crystal and leave it there for several seconds, usually 30-50 seconds, although the material will affect how long you should heat the crystals. Denim, for instance, takes much longer than jersey.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 for all stones in your design.
Tips: If you use an iron instead of a hotfix applicator tool, avoid irons with steam ports or use the portion of the iron without steam ports. You must also hold the iron on the crystals longer. Irons work best for large fancy stones and crystal transfers.
