My NFS World Garage after 5 years (end of the game)

Need for Speed World will shut down in about a week, so I have recorded my full garage for people who are curious about it. You might think that a crazy Need for Speed nerd like me will have a huge garage with all the strong cars but that is not actually the case. Althogh I love many NFS games I was never a big fan of NFS World in particular because of all the bad things about it, like the insane prices, the unfair upgrade system, the crazy traffic on unrestricted tracks and the lacking controller support. I didn't even get the best car in the game because I don't agree with paying 50 bucks for a single car.

Here you can see which cars I did get and I will write a few words about the background of each of them. All of these cars were acquired before the shutdown was announced, so I didn't make use of any "end of the world" special sales to get them.

Silvia - I got this one for buying a "starter pack" from a certain website when the game launched. I can get as many of them as I want for 0 IGC at the car dealer.

Mazdaspeed - Everyone could get one of these with a bonus code.

Elise - The best tier 2 car at the start of the game. Bought with IGC.

911 GT3 - First car that I bought with boost. Best car in the game at the time. Would have preferred the version without police design but it was already gone from the store.

MR2 - Best tier 1 car at the time. Later became best class B car. Bought with boost.

M3 Sport Evolution - Best tier 2 car at the time. Bought with boost.

Miura - Second best tier 2 car at the time. Bought with boost.

Mustang RTR-X - Second best car in the game at the time. Bought with boost.

Exige - Another solid tier 2 car at the time. Bought with boost while on sale. Shouldn't have done that. I didn't really need it at all.

Z4, Supra, Cayman - Came with the DVD box version of the game, which I bought for my collection. It was meant for new players but you could also the add the stuff to an existing account. http://bit.ly/1JI7MYh

M3 E46 - Best car in the game at the very start. Not anymore when I got it but as an MW fan I still wanted to have it of course. :) Bought with IGC.

Murcielago - Felt good to buy a car like this with IGC. Pretty useless though, so probably shouldn't have done that. I think it cost 2 million.

Lancer - My favorite car from NFS Carbon for IGC.

350Z - Good looking car for IGC that was about to be removed from the store.

Boxter - Everyone got this one with a code.

Scirocco - Bought for same reason as 350Z. Later became useful as the best class E car though.

Impreza, RX-7 - Same as 350Z.

Camaro, Jaguar, Lancia - I believe those came with bonus codes that I got.

Challenger - Super cheap IGC car. Maybe for the Dodge achievement.

M3 E92 - Achievement reward.

RX-7 RZ - From my first car prize pack.

911 GT2 - Competitive class A car for IGC.

200SX - Trying to find a decent class D car for IGC.

Corvette, Viper, Vantage - Useless but cool cars that were available for IGC.

Mustang Boss - Wanted to have something for the "High Stakes" team escape, which was the best way to earn money at the time.

A1 - From a code I think.

RX-8 - Trying to find a decent class C car for IGC.

Cobalt, Solstice, Scirocco 2 - Same as 200SX.

Eclipse Elite - Finally got one of the very best class C cars. Gift for buying boost.

Silvia 2 - Same as Cobalt.

Zonda - Finally spent some boost to get a better class S car.

RS 4 - Best car on Waterfront Road at the time. Bought with IGC.

Clio - Finally a Renault was available for IGC.

Focus - Achievement reward.

200SX 2, M6, GTO - Came with car prize packs.

Lexus - Finally a Lexus was available for IGC.

Eclipse - Finally the best overall class D car was available for IGC.

Megane - From a car prize pack I think.

911 Turbo - Everyone got this reward with a code.

McLaren MP4 - Finally a McLaren was available for IGC.
