Volvo has re-badged its 40-series vehicles to fit the company's nomenclature for electric models, so the former C40 Recharge is now the EC40. We love the coupe styling although buyers with a more practical side will find more to like in its fraternal twin, the EC40 (formerly XC40 Recharge).
The two-motor version reviewed here has Viking-level power and torque, a typically stylish and comfortable interior and enjoyable handling. But it could really do with a digital mirror to provide adequate rearward vision.
