BMW's onslaught into the EV market continues with the new i4, a very impressive entrant into the sports saloon market. But the statement that we were most intrigued by was when they said that the new i4 M50 was the very first electric M car. Its performance certainly seemed to suggest it was, but we remained sceptical. The only solution was to give one to Bryan so he could subject it to the full AutoEV road test to find out.
