*WARNING:* Swearing. Wicked spoilers for books, movie, stage script, act 2 (part 2 spoilers, ending spoilers, etc). Overlay clips super-shortened and adjusted to make viewable on YouTube. This is the most I've cut down clips for a reaction video, and will be a different experience than watching other reaction videos on this channel. Pitch leveled up with obstruction to overlay (Raster effect via iMovie). Lighting issues towards end of vidoe (after Elphie meets the wizard). #wicked #wickedmusical #wickedmovie
FULL COMMENTARY REACTION via PATREON ('Warm Up Tier' Membership Only): Before considering joining my Patreon, see additional warnings below time-markers for this video (Trigger warning). I make an inappropriate and offensive comment in full reaction (I was soooo offended by my own words and thoughts, when rewatching 😓).
Full 'Watch Along' commentary is available to 'Warm Up Tier 'members via Patreon account. This commentary has no audio or visual clips. Use countdown at start to follow along with your own copy of the movie playing in a separate window etc.

*I thought it was going to be perfect and it was BEYOND!!! So glad Jon M. Chu was at the helm and that this exists for us to watch (and re-watch!). The singing was phenomenal!!! I'm in love with the ensemble and the extra talent, for this movie!!!

*FULL REACTION CORRECTION/WARNING:*
There is a controversial/inappropriate comment I make during Elphaba and Galinda's Ozdust dance. I was embarrassed and offended by my own words, rewatching the full reaction video. It concerns the female body image or portrayal, and what implications or meanings can come from placing your hands over your stomach, concerning storytelling though movement and dance (especially classical ballet storytelling using gestures and direction of gaze, but it ties with theater performance as well). I apologize for my offensive remark and am trying to do better by getting away from such a traditional line of thinking. I've been that person where I'd be asked if I was pregnant or congratulated for being pregnant when I've never been. Thank you for your patience and understanding. While this comment is cut from the above reaction, I don't feel right pretending that it didn't happen, especially if people are considering paying for a Patreon membership, to listen to or watch along with the full reaction video.

Commentary Reaction: Video includes me talking and commenting on the video I'm watching.* While this is typical for all reaction videos, I wanted to leave this in the video description, so people aren't surprised when I start talking during the movie/episode/video. Will add 'commentary' to all titles to help with the confusion. Reminder that reaction videos are more likely to get blocked or a copyright strike if we don't talk a lot to avoid getting in trouble with copyright, including talking over the content we're watching (and rewatching missed scenes later on). Thank you for your understanding.
NOTE: This video is cut down, in respect of copyright laws. Clips adjusted in respect of copyright laws. This video is meant to drive discussion on the choices we make as creators and performing artists, and how to tell stories through movement/body language and presentation. To drive discussion about the entertainment industry. To help us enrich the experience of viewing content or art as audience members and dissect artistry and entertainment. To help connect different forms of entertainment in a thought-provoking way vs competitive.
Disclaimer: I rewatch and rewind when editing reaction videos (or after filming initial reaction) to catch anything that I missed by talking over lines or looking away from the movie in addition to watching everything with subtitles to help. I'm trying to pick wise moments to talk or comment, and pause videos/movies/media, when possible, without making the full commentary too long. Trying to engage with the audience at appropriate moments. Thank you for your patience.
