Pineapple Sago Payasam is a rich and creamy South Indian dessert made with fresh pineapple, sago (sabudana), milk, and sugar. The sweetness of pineapple blends beautifully with the chewy texture of sago, making it a perfect treat for festivals, special occasions, or as a simple sweet dish after meals. 🍍🥛✨
In this video, I’ll show you step by step how to prepare Pineapple Sago Payasam easily at home.
🌸 Ingredients:
Pineapple - 1 medium size Or Pineapple pieces - 1 cup to make puree and 1 cup pineapple choppped
Water to make puree - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp optional
Sago/Sabudana/Tapioca pearls - 3/4 to 1 cup
(Wash well & soak sago for 30 minutes before using )
Water to boil sago - 2 cups
Milk - 1 litre
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Condensed milk to taste (optional )
Ghee - 2tbsp
Cashews
Raisins
