Leaving One Strange Country... And Entering Another

Today we're leaving one mysterious nation... and entering another.

We're crossing the border from French Guiana to Suriname, the most interesting country you've probably never heard of before.

After crossing the river on a dodgy wooden boat we jumped on a cheap bus across the country to the capital, Paramaribo.

Upon arrival we found a classic bar for a cold one, we ate some questionable local fast food, and somehow ended up being invited into a local home for some real home-cooked food.

We're absolutely bloody loving Suriname already.
