Welcome to the Dandakaranya! On day third of my Chhattisgarh bike trip, I left Mainpat and rode to Bastar via Raipur. This journey was full of ups and downs. From Mainpat to Raipur, you have to take the Darima-Lakhanpur road and from Raipur to Bastar, it is a straight highway via Dhamtari-Kanker-Kondagaon. Most people know Bastar as a highly Naxal infected area, but it is way too beautiful and will offer you a lot to see and do. Do not think, just visit this place.
