Yolanda Hughes has to be one of the most athletic FBBs I've ever seen. A magazine called her "The Queen of Mobile Muscle" - and when you see her routine here you'll understand why!
In her routines she was known to do flips, splits and generally just launch herself through the air like an acrobat. She does that here to great effect, and you can see why she's always such a fan favorite, playing to the crowd like you don't see any modern FBB competitors do. Truly brought the excitement to every show. For this reason the audience was very much rooting for her and the boos rang out when she didn't win.
Yolanda won the 1997 and 1998 Ms. Internationals and was a big favorite to win again.
