Shey-Phoksundo lake is the second deepest and largest lake of Nepal with an depth of 145m. The trekking trails to reach this lake is extremely beautiful which includes the trails on the side of the river, beautiful valley , awesome forest view, high hills covered with snow and stunning mountain view. Lifestyles and culture of people, various wildanimals and plants , lake, river and streams and endangered animals like red panda and snow leopard are the major attractions of this place. We have travelled dolpa(Dunai) all the way from kathmandu by bus and started our trek from dunai. This trekking trail will be comfortable and easy for beginners as well as the difficulty level of this trek is moderate.
