Land Rover Discovery - air suspension leak test

Follow the steps in this video to diagnose your air suspension leak. It demonstrates how to set up your Land Rover to measure and evaluate any changes in ride height after pulling a fuse. The reason for doing this test is explained in detail below.

On a recent adventure, I experienced an air suspension fault. It was the warning fault (orange, not red). The front left airbag deflated in the middle of a rough narrow rock crawling section on the way to a lake. At that point, the EAS automatic leveling routine brought the rest of the vehicle down almost to the bump stops. Not wanting to lose any more air, I used my GAP tool to override the system behavior. I ran the test valves routine and was able to air up 3 of the 4 airbags, but the front left remained low and wouldn't take any air. A few hours and many new undercarriage and bash plate scars later, after cycling the ignition a few times and continuing to drive out of the wilderness, the system self-healed and corrected it's posture. It has remained fully aired ever since with no faults in the dash.
