First Letter-of-the-Week routine—come see how we kick it off! 🔤✨ 1️⃣ Letter Wall demo – I model the capital & lowercase on Handwriting Without Tears lines, name the sound, and brainstorm words that start with it. 2️⃣ Hands-on letter C activity – Laminated “C road” mats and toy cars; kids start at the top and drive as they say, “C says /c/.” 3️⃣ Sensory writing – Shaving-cream trays (five-senses week!). Pointer finger = “pencil,” whole hand = eraser—write C, swipe clean, repeat out loud. 4️⃣ High-Five Review at the door – Daily greeting button: letter, sound, word; high five and in they go. 5️⃣ Letter Table center – Free-choice all week with fresh multisensory C materials.
