Added to Survival mode on January 8th, 2026 as part of the Season One Reloaded update, Zarya Cosmodrome is one of the most atmospheric Zombies maps in Black Ops 7. What was once a symbol of Soviet ambition has become a nightmare battleground filled with undead hordes, corrupted souls, and lingering echoes of betrayal.

Led by a new iteration of Anton Gersh and Yuri Zavoyski, Project Thunder was meant to launch humanity forward. Instead, a mysterious leather diary and the manipulations of the Warden twisted Yuri’s mind, leading to the sabotage of the rocket and the complete displacement of the Cosmodrome into the Dark Aether.

As legends like Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, Edward Richtofen, and key Requiem and Omega figures arrive, they find no living survivors—only trapped souls bound to the rocket itself. The only way to free them is to finish what was started decades earlier and finally launch the rocket.
