The Rise of Shonen Jump's Future Generation

Shonen Jump, the largest manga media company on the planet, known for publishing hits like Dragonball, Naruto, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, and Bleach, has been hit hard over the past year due to several iconic manga ending their runs within the magazine. Following the conclusion of global superstars My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen, Weekly Shonen Jump's sales have stagnated greatly as the editorial staff try to find the next big hit to helm the 'New Power Generation'. Throughout 2025, Shonen Jump has faced further losses with some of their less popular but still vital manga ending their runs such as Undead Unluck and Mission Yozakura Family. The loss of these manga along with the pillars of Shonen Jump have left the magazine in a state of emergency. With only One Piece to carry the magazine, One Piece needs to jumpstart their future generation, and they need to do it quickly. Fortunately, Shonen Jump has been slowly adding promising manga to its lineup over the past year and now, it's finally time for some of them to make their breakthrough.
