Monks wearing yellow hats and playing the "gyaling" woodwind instrument, precede three masked dancers who perform on the podium in front of the monastery's abbot and then join the others on the dancing ground below. These rituals are devoted to Palden Lhamo ("Glorious Goddess" in Tibetan). This is the third day of the Drub-chod-Chen-Mo Cum Bomdila Torgya ceremony in the Gontse Gaden Rabgyel Ling Monastery in Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh, far northeast India, 13 November 2023.
