We spent the day in Cinque Terre!

Today we are going to explore the Italian Rivera, also known as, Cinque Terre. This area consists of 5 towns on the western coast of Italy. The towns of Cinque Terre are Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Kristal and I decided to only visit four of these towns, because the northern most town of Monterosso is known as the beach town and since it is January, we didn't feel we would be able to really enjoy that too much. However, the other four towns provided us with magnificent views and some delicious coffee. Even though most of the restaurants are closed in the off season and there is quite a bit of construction going on, there is still plenty of beauty and charm in this amazing coastal region of Italy.
