From 2012, for students a demo of my little arrangement of Greensleeves by Henry VIII, a good composer, a great king, arguably a bad husband. As you can see this is demonstration and not a performance. Sometimes I wonder why I do this ... recording things without pulling myself together and performing it properly, but then I realise that that is a whole other thing, isn't it ... 🙂
Here is some important feedback, even before any comments below:

My favourite song.

Intriguing, isn't it, even without the words ...

Not sure whether Henry wrote the words; he would compose what came to be known as "water music" for larger groups, 15-20 musicians, which he employed and built flat barges for them to play upon, floating down the Thames, so that all, both rich and poor alike, could stroll to the banks of an evening to listen to the music. You see, about "the good king" part!

That’s a great story. I was not aware.
Don Myrol
A good song is one that is arrangeable allowing the player to impart his/her own self but still retaining the original. In other words “good job “. Btw I do like the Godin.

Don Myrol so true. Fond regards, Don. You can't see from the camera shots, but this is actually my Washburn NV-300.
