I was invited to participate in Waffurusōru: "An Artistic Exhibition Of Vans Sneaker Culture" on June 6th at Yojie in Diamond Bar. This was such a fun painting and event! The turnout was at capacity and the people were just great. Thank you all again for being so supportive and awesome!
This being my first skate deck, I was a little bit nervous. I started out sanding the thick varnish off the board and prepped it with two layers of clear gesso. When I was done with the painting, I applied a coat of varnish. I'm really happy with the outcome and this will definitely not be my last deck :]
