Seattle Boat Tour | Famous Houseboats and Boys in the Boat UW Rowing

Boating Seattle's waterways like Lake Union, The Montlake Cut, Fisherman's Terminal has BIG payoffs for sightseers! While many visitors and tourists think of Seattle as a cruise port (famous for departing for Alaska cruises), the local lakes are rich with sights. Lake Union is where you'll see many interesting houseboats, including the famous Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. Gasworks park is also on the shores of Lake Union, opposite of the Seattle Skyline. Driving through the Montlake Cut on a hot day is a blast, all the UW students are cooling off in the same area made famous by the UW Rowing Crews and the Boys in the Boat movie.
On this trip, we leave from the Kirkland area on Lake Washington and cruise all the way to the Ballard Locks. Come along for the ride! This was a fun video, a day to cool off and do a little sightseeing in our backyard.
