Parramatta Council (Garbage Collection) Transpacific Industries

Here is a massive video of the compaction systems SL in action along with a short length of the GenV single axle SL. Basically the contract has been running with TPI for the 6th year now so next year we may see some new Raptors in Parramatta Council.

The compaction systems was with another company/council before TPI bought it to handle some parts of the garbage collection. This truck along with a few other CS trucks have been refurbished to look at there best in TPI colours. The young bloke seems to be quite happy using this truck which my guess's are he has had little problems with this machine. Built to last eh?

The recycling is taken care using a few single axle GenV's which are still clean and look pretty new for there age. These trucks have the cummins ISC-05 in them but the drivers arn't pushing them to there limits because they respect there trucks.

As you can see, the recycle bins have red or green tags on them, because council are trying to reduce contamination so every day many workers are busy inspecting residents recycling bins. If they recieve a red tag, its a warning for contamination. If they recieve a green tag, there doing a great job and they can win prizes etc.

You maybe asking yourself about the bins, well in 2000 they were made for JJR until 2004 when council decided to go with WSN until late 2005 which then Cleanaway took over and a number of refurbished trucks were used along with a few old WSN trucks until they bought a few new trucks in 2006 from MJE. Which then around 4-5 GenV's were going to be used for recycling and garden organics.
