Let the testing begin. First, a hexane solution is used to wash the valves. 🧪 Then, the valves go into the desiccate chamber, which burns off any leftover hexane and oils. 🔥 After they’re properly baked, we look at all of the injector holes with a microscope. 🔬Carbon deposits in 500x zoom! Next is the flow bench, which checks how even (or uneven) the flow rates are. 📏 A scope is used to measure the deposit thickness on the piston tops, and the last task is weighing the valves. ⚖️ In the next episode, they’ll put it all back together again like Humpty Dumpty. 🥚
