Thrift Haul of Infinity Scarves Upcycled Into a Picnic Quilt Blanket

This latest thrift haul included a bunch of infinity scarves, a shower curtain and an old blanket to be remade into a picnic blanket. Wondering how to make a quilt out of scarves? In this video I show how I upcycle scarves into a quilt top by rescuing them from Saint Vincent De Paul's and repurposed them into a trendy looking picnic blanket.

Does a Cricut Easy Press Machine work as regular iron? Yes, it sure does! See how I use my Cricut Easy Press to iron fabric quickly and easily. I also show how I use my Singer Serger Pro Finish to edge the scarves before piecing as well as serging around the edge of the quilt to add Chenille-It as the binding. What is Chenille-It? Watch this video to find out!

I also show how to use your thrift find to plan out an upcycle project, how to cut and prepare the scarves for the quilt and how to piece and quilt directly on a long-arm quilting machine. You will learn how sewing the quilt directly on the long-arm will not only save you time but also help the creation process.
