To help performers get a better idea of the stickings I used and see the notes as they are being played at a slower practice tempo.
Dotted Quarter Note = 36
Take note of not just the sticking but also mallet placement.
Which hand is in front or behind can be crucial in creating efficiency of motion.
There are some tricky passages that require experimenting with different stickings. Be on the look out for the upcoming GUIDE video for an explanation and to explore some options.
**The rolls and trills may have different number of strokes than appear in the performance video due to the slower tempo**
