Visteon's latest large high-resolution instrument cluster display includes integrated driver-monitoring infrared cameras and digital side mirrors. This demonstration shows Visteon systems integration capabilities like multiple lens and “hidden behind glass” cameras. The autonomous transition to assisted driver mode is enabled by a driver monitor camera system which can confirm the driver is ready to take control (awake, alert, attentive).
