The Ballas are a large African-American street gang featured in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas & Grand Theft Auto V. The Ballas wear Purple and have a bloody rivalry with the Families gang in East Los Santos. The Ballas live on the eastern part of Los Santos and have many sets throughout the gang's history such as the Kilo Tray Ballas, Front Yard Ballas, Rollin Heights Ballas, Temple Drive Ballas, Original Covenant Ballas, EastSide Ballas, and the South Rancho Ballas. The gang took over Grove Steet from the Grove Street Families sometime between 1996-2013.
