The sun went down, but the session didn't stop. 🔦 Exploring the night with the Osmo Action 4. Most action cameras fall apart when the lights go out, but this sensor pulls in enough light to keep the action crisp and the motion blur natural.
Pro Tip: Keep your shutter speed at double your frame rate (1/50 for 24fps) to get that perfect cinematic motion without the "jitter" common in night footage.
Recommended "Sweet Spot" Settings
If you want to achieve the look described above, here are the settings I recommend inputting into your camera:

Resolution 4K (Standard) Best detail retention.
Frame Rate 24fps or 30fps Allows more light per frame than 60fps.
ISO Max 1600 or 3200 Prevents "digital noise" from looking grainy.
Shutter Auto or 1/50 Keeps movements looking natural.
